Regarding the Cancellation of the 2020 Academic Year Entrance Ceremony

To new students and their family members


　In light of the spread of the COVID-19 shingata coronavirus, the University of Tokushima has decided to cancel the Tokushima University entrance ceremony for the second year of Reiwa, which was scheduled to be held at ASTY Tokushima on Monday, April 6.

　We understand that new students, parents, family members, and friends have been looking forward to the entrance ceremony, which marks the start of university life, but we hope that you will understand this decision has been made because of the need for social responsibility - to ensure the health of everyone and to prevent the spread of infection.

　Information about university orientation sessions will be announced on the university's official website as soon as the details are determined.
