How did you find out about Tokushima University and why did you decide to enroll in Tokushima University?
I first learned about Tokushima University through information provided by School of Dentistry, Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences, as well as while researching study opportunities in Japan. After learning more about it, I found that it offers high-quality education and a strong academic environment in my field of interest. I also liked the peaceful and supportive atmosphere of Tokushima, which I believe is ideal for focusing on my studies. Therefore, I decided to apply and enroll in Tokushima University.
How did you prepare for the entrance exam to Tokushima University?
I traveled to Tokushima University to take the entrance exam, where I first completed a written test and then participated in an interview. To prepare, I practiced writing essays and read academic books in English to strengthen both my subject knowledge and language skills. In addition, I made a study schedule and followed it consistently to manage my time effectively with guidance and got support from my teachers.

What kind of research did you do while you were enrolled at Tokushima University? Could you please share any difficulties you faced in your research? Also, when you had difficulties, how did you overcome them?
Through my academic training in Tokushima University, I conducted research related to my field of study, focusing on improving my theoretical knowledge and applying it to practical problems.
One of the main difficulties I faced was understanding complex academic materials in English and analyzing data effectively. At first, it was challenging to keep up with the required level of research. I developed hands-on experience in conducting in vivo, in vitro, and in situ studies. This allowed me to understand the differences between these approaches and apply them effectively based on specific research objectives. To overcome these difficulties, I spent more time reading academic papers and reviewing basic concepts.
Please tell us about your memories of Tokushima and Tokushima University during your stay.
During my stay in Tokushima, I had many valuable and memorable experiences. Academically, I learned a lot through my studies and research, and I had the opportunity to work closely with professors and colleagues in an international environment. This helped me improve not only my academic knowledge but also my communication and teamwork skills. Outside of my studies, I enjoyed the peaceful and friendly atmosphere of Tokushima. I experienced Japanese culture, interacted with local people, and built meaningful friendships. Overall, my time at Tokushima University was very meaningful and helped me grow both academically and personally.
What was your impression of Tokushima and Japan?
I found Tokushima to be a very peaceful and quiet place with a humid climate, surrounded by the sea, mountains, and forests. Because of this natural environment, I think it is an excellent place for research and academic work, as it allows for focus and concentration. I was also impressed by the friendliness of the people, who are kind and welcoming. In addition, the cost of living is relatively low, which makes it a comfortable place for students to live. I also learned that many tourists from different parts of Japan visit Tokushima. In particular, I was very impressed by the Awa Odori dance festival, which is a large and vibrant cultural event. I found it very beautiful and interesting to experience such a traditional festival.
