On September 26th, 2026, the presentation ceremony for the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon was held at the Central Administration Office on Shinkura Campus.
Tokushima University recently welcomed Ms. Takeda Taeko who made a substantial donation to the Tokushima University Fund (via bequest/inheritance). President Kawamura Yasuhiko presented her with a certificate of commendation and the Medal, and expressed Tokushima University’s deepest gratitude.
This donation honors the wishes of her late father, Professor Emeritus Inoue Hideo who made immense contributions during the formative years of the Faculty of Dentistry. The funds will be effectively utilized to foster young researchers and advance the Faculty’s educational and research activities through the "Inoue Hideo Award for the Encouragement of Basic Dental Research," established in the 2026 academic year.
