On August 7th,2026, the International Center at Tokushima University held the graduation ceremony for the first-semester Intensive Japanese course of the 2026 academic year.
At the ceremony, five-students__ four from China and one from Brazil __ delivered speeches in Japanese as the culmination of their six months of study.
Using Power Point slides, the students delivered speeches entirely in Japanese about their home countries, their fields of study, their experiences in Japanese language classes, and their future goals.
After all the speeches were completed and Center Director Mikito Yasuzawa of the university offered his closing remarks, certificates of completion were awarded.
The ceremony concluded with a commemorative group photo of all attendees.
The students who completed this course will continue to devote themselves to their studies and research in the university’s graduate school before spreading their wings and embarking on their respective paths.
