研究概要
精神疾患の理解を深め治療を向上させることが、私たちの研究の出発点であり究極の目的である。急速に進歩する神経科学をどのように精神疾患研究に導入するかが研究成果の重要な鍵となるので、徳島大学の地の利と人の和を十分に生かすべく、学内外関連分野との連携や共同研究は積極的に行いたい。現在、精神症候学、精神薬理学、分子医学、神経画像学などを主要な方法論として以下の研究を行っている。

Appropriate application of the advance of neuroscience is an important factor to make progress in the understanding and treatment of psychiatric diseases. With collaboration with other departments, following studies are conducted.
- Application of molecular biology for the evaluation of Mood disorders.
- Clinical and molecular biological study of schizophrenia.
- Neuroimaging study of psychiatric diseases using MRS and NIRS.
- Psychological and symptomatological study of psychosomatic diseases.
