Graduate School of Bioscience and Bioindustry

Unlike the three courses of the Faculty, the Graduate School of Bioscience and Bioindustry offers five courses, integrating the dissimilar fields of agriculture, biology, nutritional science, biotechnology, pharmaceutics and so on. The School aims to develop personnel who can play an active role in bioindustry, through basic research in bioscience and applied research in stable production technologies for biotic resources, selective breeding technologies using genome editing, ecological conservation of biotic resources, food processing and preservation technology and the role of functional ingredients in food products, the discovery of useful substances in biotic resources, bioenergy production, functional research of biological material, drug discovery and so on.
