  The Department of Community and Family Medicine was established in December 2023 to practice education, practice, and research activities with the goal of fostering physicians with a holistic perspective who have an “attitude to see patients and consumers comprehensively,” one of the basic qualities and abilities required of a physician. The main research projects are as follows

1. Research to effectively train and secure general practitioners and family physicians who contribute to community medicine
2. Research on improving the working environment in community medical practice
3. Research on medical care, nursing care, and welfare in primary care practice
