 Appropriate application of the advance of neuroscience is an important factor to make progress in the understanding and treatment of psychiatric diseases. With collaboration with other departments, following studies are conducted.

1. Application of molecular biology for the evaluation of Mood disorders.
2. Clinical and molecular biological study of schizophrenia.
3. Neuroimaging study of psychiatric diseases using MRS and NIRS.
4. Psychological and symptomatological study of psychosomatic diseases.
