The Award Ceremony for the 2025 Tokushima Volunteer Passport Completion Certificates and the Student Awards Ceremony were held.

On March 3rd, 2026, the Award Ceremony for the 2025 Tokushima Volunteer Passport Completion Certificates and the Student Awards Ceremony were held at the Otsuka Memorial University Auditorium.

The Tokushima Volunteer Passport Program is a project conducted in collaboration with Tokushima Prefecture with the aim of fostering individuals who can contribute to the local community by taking on challenges to solve regional issues in Tokushima Prefecture through volunteer activities. In this program, there are three levels of passports, "Green," "Red," and "Blue," depending on the amount of volunteer work students have done. This time, President Kawamura presented certificates of completion to six students who have completed the "Red Passport" program, having engaged in a cumulative total of 80 hours or more of volunteer work.

The Student Awards, established in accordance with Article 51 of the University Regulations, is a system to recognize and commend students who have made outstanding achievements. This year, 31 students and 1 group achieved excellent academic results or research results; 30 students and 5 groups made particularly outstanding achievements in extracurricular activities and contributed to the promotion of extracurricular activities at Tokushima University; and 1 student and 2 groups received high praise for their social activities and other activities, significantly enhancing the reputation of Tokushima University. In total, 62 students and 8 groups received certificates of commendation and commemorative gifts from President Kawamura.
