The Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Tokushima University is engaged in clinical practice, education, and research with the aim of promoting health through the oral cavity of children from infancy to adulthood.
In clinical practice, we focus on dental caries treatment for children, children with disabilities, and other oral care, support for eating and swallowing, especially early orthodontic treatment, and support the growth and development of children.In terms of education, we are developing human resources who will be responsible for future pediatric dentistry, and in research, we are working on clinical research on sleep apnea in children, which is rare internationally.
