About Us

The Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences fosters personnel with capabilities in various fields of pharmaceutics. Its philosophy is to contribute to progress in medicine through pharmaceuticals and to promote the welfare and health of humanity.

The Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences comprises two programs. The two-year Master’s Degree in Drug Development Science aims to foster researchers and educators in drug discovery, development and manufacture who can play an active international role meeting diverse medical needs. An additional three year doctoral degree is also offered. The four-year doctoral degree aims to foster leading pharmacists and clinical pharmacists who have broad knowledge of medicine and high ethical standards, with the practical research ability to support leading edge drug therapy.

Both programs are based on a curriculum featuring research guidance by a number of supervising faculty members with the aim of providing systematic knowledge and the ability to carry out research in related fields. We aim to foster talented people with both interdisciplinary skill and deep specialization.
