The Tokushima University Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences signs an academic exchange agreement with Taiwan’s KaiNan University School of Humanities and Social Sciences

The Tokushima University Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences has signed an interdepartmental academic exchange agreement with Taiwan’s KaiNan University School of Humanities and Social Sciences, holding a signing ceremony on July 29, 2016.

The signing ceremony was attended by Tio Sunbun, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of KaiNan University, and from Tokushima University, Dean Hirai of the Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences, Director Kin of the International Center, Vice-Dean Sakuma of the Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences, and Chairman Takubo of the Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences International Exchange Committee.

Before the signing ceremony, Dean Hirai of the Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences and Director Kin of the International Center offered words of welcome, and Dean Tio of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of KaiNan University spoke of his aspirations for the exchange agreement.

After the signing ceremony, the participants continued with meetings to discuss promoting academic exchanges.

KaiNan University comprises the graduate schools of Commerce, Transportation and Tourism, Informatics, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Health Care. In the future, the two organizations will deepen their international exchange through long-term appointment of students and short-term exchange programs.
