Tokushima Prefecture 2015 Japanese Speech Contest

 Tokushima Prefecture 2015 Japanese Speech Contest hosted by Tokushima Prefectural International Exchange Association was held on July 20 at Awagin Hall. This contest is held in July every year, and 14 foreign people from 9 countries and areas participated this year.

 Peng Yue from China who is a special auditing student of Faculty of Integrated Arts and Sciences gave a speech the topic of which is “Treasure of Tokushima, forever!”. She said “We need to make an effort to keep nature, peaceful town and kindly heart of people in Tokushima” in her speech, and it teaches us the importance of knowing virtues of ourselves and having strength to stay unchanged in the changing world.

 She was awarded a prize from the group of Tokushima prefectural assembly members supporting international exchange. Wang Xiaoyu of Graduate School of Integrated Arts and Sciences and Tang Qing of Graduate School of Advanced Technology and Sciences from China were awarded a prize for their effort.
