The Tokushima University Coop has started to provide halal food and snacks
In recent years, Tokushima University has been accepting growing numbers of Muslim international students. However, due to differences in culture and religion, some students will not eat the same food as Japanese students. To enable these students to enjoy their meals in the university cafeteria, the Tokushima University Coop has started to provide halal food and snacks.
Going forward, we aim to increase the menu options in consultation with our international students, including the possibility of obtaining halal certification, in order to ensure better support for student life.
