The President of Leibniz Universitat Hannover Makes a Courtesy Call


On October 10, four members of the Leibniz Universitat Hannover made a courtesy call to Tokushima including the President, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Erich Barke, Dr. Birgit Barden, Head of the International Office, and Dr. Franz Renz, Professor of the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry.

After President Kagawa and President Barke signed a basic agreement toward an intercollegiate exchange agreement, there was an introduction to both universities and a meeting was held.

This was followed by a discussion in the Faculty of Engineering, with a presentation on the curriculum by Tokushima faculty, an explanation of research in the fields of biology, mechanics and electrical and electronic engineering, and a tour of the facilities.
