Ceremony to Inaugurate the Suketo Wonderland LED Illuminations

2013-12-26

On December 9, a ceremony was held to inaugurate the Suketo Wonderland LED illuminations on Suketo Hill on the Josanjima Campus. This LED illumination event is open to the general public and is held to promote engagement and cooperation not only between the students and staff of the university but also with the local community.

At the ceremony, abut 200 people counted down and the LED illuminations were switched on. This year’s LED lights extend from Suketo Hill along the Symbol Street to the LED clock tower of the Faculty of Engineering. The lights were designed by the students and faculty to offer viewers the enjoyment of participation, with lights that come on in response to sounds or human movement, or with images that change.
