The Dean and Vice-Dean of the Gadjah Mada University Faculty of Dentistry make a courtesy call to the University of Tokushima

On May 31, the Dean and Vice-Dean of the Gadjah Mada University Faculty of Dentistry, Erwan Sugiatno and Nunuk Purwant, made a courtesy call to the University of Tokushima. Gadjah Mada University has an international academic exchange agreement with the University of Tokushima. The visit was made to discuss education and research, and enhance exchange between the universities.

Many international students come to the University of Tokushima University from Gadjah Mada, and Vice Dean Nunuk Purwant who visited this time graduated from the Graduate School of Oral Sciences. Until now, exchanges have been focused on the oral sciences, but Erwan Sugiatno expressed the wish to extend this to the field of nutritional science, and it is possible that exchanges will expand further in future.

The visitors had wide ranging discussions with President Kagawa concerning exchanges between researchers, and there are strong expectations towards building a relationship where both universities improve their education and research.
