The Japanese language training course is held twice a year in spring and autumn, offering intensive classes for about six months as preparatory education for international students before enrollment in graduate school to enable them to get by in Japanese soon after they arrive in Japan.

At the opening ceremony, Director Takaishi offered a welcome greeting, followed by some words of encouragement from Vice President Chikamori of Naruto University of Education. Finally, the trainees introduced themselves briefly, giving their name, country of origin and specialism, using the Japanese that they have just started learning.
