Oral Molecular Pathology

We have studied the molecular pathogenesis of autoimmune disorders and the new mechanism of carcinogenesis. Precise mechanisms of autoimmune diseases or metal allergy are analyzing with those animal models in the points of environmental factors and sex hormones. On the other hand, we examine the abnormal regulation of cell cycle via ubiquitin-mediated proteolysis and the identification of novel cancer invasion-related molecules to understand the mechanisms of carcinogenesis, cancer invasion and metastasis. We try to develop the novel cancer diagnosis and therapy based on our research. In addition, we explore the novel mechanism of tumor immune system to apply for the cancer therapy.
